Description of First Aid Measures for Gel Packs
General Advice
No harmful effects are expected under normal use. If packing is broken, direct contact with solution may be slightly irritating to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
Inhalation
If pack is broken, direct contact with pack may be slightly irritating to the respiratory tract. Move person to ventilated area. If irritation persists, seek advice of medical personnel.
Skin Contact
If pack is broken, direct contact with pack may be slightly irritating to the skin.
Flush area with water. If irritation persists seek advice of medical personnel.
Eye Contact
If pack is broken, direct contact with pack may be slightly irritating to the eyes.
Flush with cool running water. If irritation persists seek advice of medical personnel.
Swallowing
If contents of pack are ingested; Call a physician or poison control center for the most current information.
Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a medical personnel.
Do NOT give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention.
