5 Piece Jawstrap Pack

The pack comes with a four-way stretch strap. The strap is adjustable to fit any head size with the Velcro attachments. Also included are 4 mini blue gels. Through compression and icing swelling is prevented to retain movement and speed recovery.

 Quick notes on use: 

• Freeze blue gel packs before use, allow 4 to 5 hours. They will stay flexible
• Apply the chilled gel packs for the patient before they leave your surgery
• Load the blue gel packs into the side pockets of the Jawstrap
• Put the Jawstrap on with chin seam at the bottom. Pockets facing outwards
• Tighten Velcro for compression. Not too tight or too loose.
• Reposition over the area as required
• Maximum use would be 20 mins on, 20 mins off while awake for the first 48 hours. This should reduce the need for pain killers
• Some leave the strap in place during the 20 mins off phase (without gel packs in it) to keep the area compressed
• Sleeping with the Jawstrap on (with no gel packs) is another suggestion

• The entire pack is latex free.
